In addition to hiking, mountain biking can be an excellent alternative for experiencing the mountains. Madesimo and Valchiavenna offer numerous tails, with different degrees of difficulty.

For beginners and families there are easy routes to complete with mountain bikes, such as the Madesimo – Motta – Fondovalle ring or the Andossi Cycle Trail. For mountain bike experts on the other hand, the valley offers routes both challenging and spectacular trails, for example in Val Febbraro. Whatever the choice, be prepared for breathtaking landscapes and full immersion in the magic that only Madesimo can offer.

In additions to trails around Madesimo, in lower Valchiavenna and Valtellina, you can find asphalted cycle paths suitable for everyone, also reachable from the railway stations.
